Ballinrobe Race Meetings are an absolute delight. Recognised as one of the premier racing venues and despite its smaller size, provides some of the best racing returns in the country.
From the rugged Twelve Bens mountain range in the north through lake-rich Roundstone Bog to the golden beaches reaching out into the Atlantic Ocean, you’ll know you’re in Connemara by the light that constantly changes the mood and tone of the landscape.
The Burren creates a tapestry of colour and a seductively magical aura which few people leave without some sense of loss. It’s special wildlife habitat and it’s alpine flora nestling in limestone crevices combine with it’s extraordinary array of megalithic monuments to engender an innate sense of spiritual peace.
